Bremerton by the Book: Volume 1 is a brand-new author festival celebrating Independent Authors — those who self-publish or publish outside traditional publishing houses — and the passion they pour into their work. “Volume One” marks the exciting first chapter of this annual event, launching in 2026.
Join us for a full day of literary discovery featuring a keynote author talk by Olivia Waite, a live jazz band performance to kick off the festivities, and author readings and Q&A sessions throughout the day. With at least 23 talented authors in attendance — each bringing at least one self-published title (and many bringing more!) — you’re bound to find your next favorite read.
